In the sea, in addition to salmon, bass, sharks and various fish, there are also some peculiar creatures, such as seahorses, jellyfish, crabs, and shrimps and so on.
Shrimp is an arthropod that lives in water. It is not good at swimming, but can jump quickly in the water. It eat tiny creatures, and some eat carrion.
There are nearly 2,000 species of shrimp, which can be divided into freshwater shrimp and marine shrimp according to their growing environment. Shrimp breathe through gills and have 2 pairs of antennae responsible for smell, touch and balance.
The motor organs of shrimp are very underdeveloped, and they can only crawl slowly on the seabed at ordinary times. But they can jump backwards continuously, very fast.
How to Draw a Shrimp Step by Step
Step 1 Draw the outline of the shrimp's head
Draw a long smooth curve from top left to bottom right. Then take two points below this line.
Starting at the left end of this curve, draw a curve down to that point on the left. Then connect that point on the right to the right end of the curve.
Draw a curved line to connect the two points. Then on this head outline, draw three lines near the left edge.
Step 2 Draw one eye of the shrimp
On the first long curve we drew, draw a circle to the right of the middle. You need to erase the line in this circle.
Then draw a circle in the center of this circle and paint this circle black.
Step 3 Draw the top of the shrimp's head
Starting from the left end of the first curve, draw zigzag lines to the right to the right end of this curve.
You will notice that the angles of these zigzag lines are all facing to the right.
Step 4 Draw the upper body of the shrimp
Draw an oval on the left of the head. Of course it is not complete, and the part that overlaps with the head does not need to be drawn.
Then in a similar way, draw a slightly larger oval to the left of this oval.
Draw another larger oval on the left.
Step 5 Draw the lower part of the shrimp body
Continue to draw the body of the shrimp as in the previous step.
You need to pay attention to the size and inclination of each oval when you draw it.
Step 6 Draw the tail of the shrimp
At the bottom of the body, draw a triangular tail. Each edge of this triangle is curved, and the angle at the bottom of the body is the smallest.
Leave a gap on the edge away from the body. Then draw a "U" at this gap. The tail of this shrimp is done.
Step 7 Draw the small legs of the shrimp
Starting at the left edge of the head, draw a smooth curve downward.
From the second section of the body, draw a downward curve.
From the third section of the body, draw three curved lines downward.
Step 8 Draw the legs and tentacles of the shrimp
Starting at the bottom of the head, draw two thick legs towards the bottom right. Draw two slender tentacles towards the top.
Then draw a few small circles next to the tentacles as bubbles.
Step 9 Color this shrimp

Nutritional elements of shrimp
Shrimp meat is very rich in nutrients, especially the protein content is very high, much higher than fish and meat, and rich in calcium, phosphorus and other minerals.
In addition, shrimp meat contains a lot of astaxanthin, which is a carotenoid with very strong antioxidant capacity, even far exceeding vitamin E. Astaxanthin can delay aging, and many skin care products on the market now contain astaxanthin extract.
