How to Draw a T-shirt Step by Step

Step 1 Draw the neckline of this short-sleeved t-shirt

Start by drawing the neckline of this short-sleeved t-shirt. Narrow at the ends and wide in the middle, it looks like the edge of a pizza.

Draw a curved line to connect the left and right ends of this neckline. The curve should be arched upwards.

Draw a small label - a twisted rectangle - in the bottom middle of this curve. Then add three horizontal lines to this label.

Step 2 Draw one sleeve of this short-sleeved t-shirt

To the left of the already drawn neckline, draw one sleeve of this short-sleeved t-shirt.

As you can see, the sleeve is wide, meaning the short-sleeved t-shirt is likely to be a loose fit as well.

This is an obvious feature of this t-shirt and you need to keep that in mind.

Step 3 Draw the other sleeve of this short-sleeved t-shirt

In a similar way, draw the other sleeve of this short-sleeved t-shirt.

While the two sleeves are not exactly the same, they are roughly symmetrical.

You can draw a long-sleeved t-shirt this way, just by extending both sleeves of the t-shirt.

Step 4 Draw the left and bottom edges of the t-shirt

Starting at the right end of the sleeve on the left, draw a line down to get one side of the short-sleeved t-shirt.

You need to notice that the line is sloping to the left.

Then start at the bottom end of this line and draw a line to the right. The line should be concave.

Step 5 Draw the right edge and bottom of the t-shirt

In a similar way to the previous step, we draw the right edge of the short-sleeved t-shirt and complete its bottom.

So we have a simple short sleeve t-shirt. You might think it's too simplistic.

Step 6 Add a flower to this short sleeve t-shirt

We are going to add a decoration to this t-shirt. It can be any pattern you like. We are here to add a flower to it.

Start by drawing a circle in the middle of this short-sleeved t-shirt. Make this circle bigger, about 2-3 times the size of a petal.

Then draw a petal first, and draw petals in a counterclockwise order.

Step 7 Draw the stem and leaves of the flower

Starting at the bottom of this flower, draw a curve downward. This is the stem of the flower, you can draw it thicker.

Then draw two leaves at the bottom of the stem, which are on either side of the stem. You will also need to add a line to each leaf.

Step 8 Add details on this short-sleeved t-shirt

To the neckline, sleeves and edges of this t-Shirt, add some short lines for a pleated-like effect.

Step 9 Color this short sleeve t-shirt
