The origin of Halloween is related to ghosts, and dressing up is one of the most popular Halloween customs, especially loved by kids. The theme of Halloween is ghosts, scaring people and things related to death, magic, monsters.
Things commonly associated with Halloween are pumpkins, ghosts, ghouls, witches, bats, black cats, owls, elves, zombies, skeletons and demons, as well as vampires and Frankenstein.
Of course, by now, people's costumes are not just ghosts and monsters, anyone can play at will. Many regions organize large-scale makeup parades every year, which are very lively.
In today's drawing tutorial, we will learn how to draw a cute Frankenstein head. You will never be afraid of him!
How to Draw Frankenstein Head Step by Step
Step 1 Draw the outline of Frankenstein's head
The Frankenstein we're going to draw may not be the same as what we're used to seeing - his head is rectangular.
Let's start by drawing the outline of this Frankenstein's head. Start by drawing a long horizontal line.
Draw lines perpendicular to it from both ends of this line. They are the same length.
Step 2 Draw Frankenstein's mouth
Draw a short horizontal line at the bottom of the vertical line on the left. The same goes for the bottom of the vertical line on the right.
Between these two horizontal lines, and below them, draw another long horizontal line.
Connect the two ends of the long horizontal line to the ends of the two short horizontal lines to complete the Frankenstein's mouth.
Step 3 Draw Frankenstein's chin
We drew two short horizontal lines in the previous step. Draw a line perpendicular to it from the left end of the left one.
Let's look again at the short horizontal line to the right. Also draw a line perpendicular to it from its right end.
The two vertical lines we just drew should be the same length. Now draw a horizontal line to connect their ends.
Step 4 Draw Frankenstein's eyes
On Frankenstein's face, we only need to draw two big eyes and two scars, no nose or cheeks etc.
Let's draw a circle first and draw two circles inside it to get the eye on the left.
To the right of the already drawn eye, we are going to draw a bigger eye. But you have to notice that the innermost circle of this eye is smaller than the one in the left eye.
Step 5 Draw a scar on Frankenstein's face
We'll add two scars to this Frankenstein's face - one on his forehead and one on his chin.
On the top left of the left eye, start by drawing a straight line from the bottom left to the top right.
Then draw four straight lines perpendicular to it. You need to pay attention to the spacing between them.
Step 6 Draw another scar on Frankenstein's face
Here we're going to draw that scar on this Frankenstein's chin. This is the last detail on this Frankenstein's face.
On the bottom right of Frankenstein's mouth, draw a straight line from top left to bottom right.
Then draw four straight lines perpendicular to it. This way we complete his other scar.
Step 7 Draw an ear of Frankenstein
In today's tutorial, we're going to draw the head of Frankenstein. Now that we've finished his face, all that's left is the ears!
On the right side of the head, directly to the right of the eye on the right, draw a rectangle for an ear.
We don't need to draw the ear very big, it's about the same size as a scar.
Step 8 Draw Frankenstein's other ear
Just to the left of the left eye, we draw another rectangle for Frankenstein's other ear.
The two ears of this Frankenstein are the same size, but they are located at slightly different heights.
Alright, we've drawn this cute Frankenstein head. Let's go ahead and color him.
Step 9 Color this Frankenstein head
Finally, in the coloring step, you can choose any colors you like, as long as you think this Frankenstein is what you want it to be.
Here we have chosen green as the main color. Then color the eyes red and the ears grey.
