"The Mighty Mouse Playhouse" is a set of TV cartoons launched by 20th Century Fox. The protagonist is a super mouse who wears a cape like Superman. It first appeared in the 1942 animated short The Mouse of Tomorrow.

As a "superhero", Mighty Mouse still had many traces of Superman in the early days. The blue uniform and red cloak are just like a mouse version of Superman.

In the later development, Mighty Mouse's uniform color became yellow, while the cape and boots remained red.

Mighty Mouse's real name is Mike Mouse. He can fly, has x-ray vision (along with hypnotic powers), and can affect time, turning it back.
